Photos in the Park - Fundraiser for the Charger Marching Band

Photos in the Park are short and sweet! They last up to 15 minutes and provide you with an affordable, easy way to get stunning professional photographs for gifts, home decor, holiday cards or just to have around as delightful memories of a special day.

This is a special event for the benefit for the Hamilton Chargers Marching Band! Half of your $50 session fee will go to the band student in the photo or to one who referred you. After your session, you can generally expect 8 to 10 proof photos for you to choose from, get a free 8x10 print, one digital file in jpg format and order prints in an online gallery. Blue Sky Photography will donate additional 10% from the print sales profit to Band Booster.

How do I register?

Go to SignupGenius and register for one of the 15 minute mini sessions. Sign up at least 2 days prior to your session to ensure availability.

How do I pay for the session?

Arrive 15 minutes early to your session and pay with either check or cash. Make check payable to Jacek Oleszczak.

What will I receive?

You will receive the folowing: - 15 minute photo session with Jacek Oleszczak from Blue Sky Photography - 8-10 poses to choose from - One 8x10 print - One photo in digital jpg format (prrintable up to 8x10) - Option to purchase additional prints and files

Where exactly in Menomonee Park will the session take place?

The exact location will be determined closer to October 20th to ensure we have the best color available. You will receive seperate email with directions on how to get there and what to bring.

What should I wear?

One of our most popular questions is “what should I wear?” There’s no “correct” answer, but we do have a little list of ideas to help guide you in your outfit selection.

• Bright colors look lovely! For couples and families, try choosing outfits with colors that complement each other rather than exact matches.

• Create textures! Bright woven scarves, faux furs, knits, bold prints, and interesting fabrics always look fabulous on camera.

• Avoid items that detract from the scene. White socks, large men’s watches, plain white t-shirts, and sunglasses to name a few!

• Have fun with the accessories. Heirloom jewelry, scarves, ties, bags, fun shoes, wraps, and hats can add a lot of character and pop tones to a photo. Although lots of accessories might seem a bit excessive in person, they really show up well in front of the lens. If you’re wondering whether a certain item is a good idea to wear, just ask! We’ll be happy to answer your questions.

How many family members can I bring?

We generally allow up to 6-8 family members (including small children) per session. If you would like to add more members, please let us know ahead of time. You might need to book double block or take the 11:15 am slot.

What about my pet?

Pets are welcome!

What if it rains?

If it rains on October 20th we will move the event to October 21st. You will keep the same time slot as you originally signed up for. If it rains on the rain date, we will cancel the event.

How do I order additional prints?

You will be able to order prints online or in person. There will be a link to the on-line store provided to you via e-mail within 14 days after the session. If you prefer to do it in person, contact Jacek Oleszczak at jacek@blue-skyphotography.com or 262-391-3296.

What if I want digital files not prints?

Digital files will be available for purchase at special pricing just for this event. The download of 10 jpg files of touched up images suitable for printing up to 8 x 10 images will be available at $200 plus tax. This download will also include watermarked images for posting to social media sites. No substitutes or variations of this offer are available.

Single files in different resolution are going to be available on the website.

Will I be able to purchase cool looking canvas I saw at my neighbor's house?

Yes! We not only have canvas, but also aluminum wall displays (printed on actual aluminum), books, framed wall art, acrylic blocks, Christmas cards, and many other products. Can I use this session as my high school senior photo shoot?

This special event was designed to create memories for families. While we often take individual photos of each family member during the mini session, we discourage to use this session for your high school senior photos for various reasons. You will be really better served to schedule a separate session with us that will give you more time to get relaxed and get an option of various surroundings. Please get in touch with us if you still need your senior photos done.
